Hello and welcome to another installment of travel guides in the Baltics! Today we’ll be traveling to Latvia and introducing some incredible places that you can visit!
📍Āgenskalna tirgus in Riga
A fancy market where you can eat good food and have delicious coffee. On weekends there are flea markets where you can find lots of vintage stuff.
📍Ķemeri National Park in Jūrmala
A wonderful place to visit if you enjoy the outdoors. You can take a stroll on the Great Ķemeri Bog boardwalk, watch birds and even go cycling.
📍Turaida castle in Sigulda
Feel like jumping through time and going back to the Medieval times? Then Turaida castle is for you. There you can see what life was like during the 13th century.
📍Gauja National Park
Located in Sigulda, it’s the largest and oldest national park in Latvia. There’s natural springs and sandstone outcrops and so much more! But if you’re feeling brave, you can also try and walk 10000 stairs.
📍Rozengrāls (Vinarium civitatis rigensis)
If you want to experience dining in the middle-ages, then be sure to visit Rozengrāls! Waiters are in character, the place uses candles as a source of light and you’ll truly feel like you’re transported to a real Medieval tavern!
