ULTIMATE STICKERS GUIDE

Stickers might seem simple, but there’s more to them than meets the eye. From types and cuts to materials and finishes, the world of stickers is vast. Welcome to the ultimate stickers guide!

🔸Hand-cut
You can cut out your stickers manually. This method is precise for small batches and time-consuming, but also relaxing.
🔸Machine-cut
You can entrust the cutting process to a machine, which is faster and more convenient for large batches. Perfect for efficiency and consistency.

🔸 Die Cut
Stickers cut through both the vinyl and backing paper to match your design shape exactly. Perfect for custom shapes, logos, and intricate designs.
🔸Kiss Cut
Only the top sticker layer is cut, leaving the backing paper intact. Perfect for producing sticker sheets, allowing you to peel and stick individual stickers.

🔸Vinyl
Vinyl is the base material for the sticker, which comes in various types, such as holographic, transparent, glitter, metallic, matte, and glossy. The design is printed directly on the preferred paper material.
🔸Lamination
Lamination is a protective layer applied to the top of the sticker. There is also a wide variety of different laminations to choose from: matte, glossy, holographic, textured, and many more! Choose the perfect “topping” and just peel it on the stickers (this can be done both manually and mechanically).

📍Where to buy paper and lamination?
You can get essential materials from local stationery or print stores, or you can also order them online from Amazon (DE) or Etsy, for example.

📍Where to print stickers?
You can print stickers at home, if you own a printer, or at a local printing studio, for example, CopyPro. Or you can also order stickers from manufacturers we covered in one of the previous posts!
