🔸Old Riga Christmas market🔸
Located in Dome Square from the start of December till the first week of January, this is the most famous and busiest Christmas market in Latvia. And no wonder! Here you can find gifts for every personality, from wooden toys, to hand-knitted gloves, to amber jewellery. In case you get hungry during the cold winter evenings, you can grab a bite of pancakes or traditional Latvian food, as well as a cup of karstvīns.

Have you ever wanted to explore Old Riga without all the hustle and bustle? Then come to Kuldiga, with its charming cobble streets and historical houses. The town may be small, but you won’t run out of things to see and do any time soon. Perhaps you might see the widest waterfall in Europe, if Venta hasn’t frozen over – but honestly, that in itself is a wonderful view.
