Hi, this is Airi! Today I would like to show you some application and fixing tips that will help your makeup survive through the long convention days, performances and photoshoots.

🔸Skin prep
A good skin prep is key for both smooth application and long lasting makeup. Use a moisturiser, mask that works best for your skin and let it absorb before applying any products. A good trick is to moisturize skin well 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 convention/photoshoot, so that you have nice and smooth skin by the morning
The next important step would be a makeup primer – it provides a good grip for your makeup. I prefer the ones that have a slightly sticky residue, but you can use the one that works better for your skin.
Eyes are one of the most problematic areas, where eyeshadow constantly slides in the creases. Use a thin layer of eyeshadow primer or a light concealer before application.

🔸Application
Rather than applying one thick layer of foundation or concealer, it is better to use thin even layers and blend them well. You can always build up more layers for coverage.
A good trick is to apply dry products on top of liquid/cream ones – dry contour on top of cream contour, dry blush on top of liquid blush. It sets the cream products and gives more coverage at the same time.

🔸Fixing the layers
Setting spray is your best friend – with the help of it you can make any kind of makeup long lasting and even waterproof.
Use setting spray not only in the very end of your makeup routine, but also in the middle of the process. Set your first layer of foundation, let it dry completely, then apply the contour, spray with a setting solution as well, and repeat the same steps until your makeup is complete.

🔸Touch ups
Although all of the mentioned tricks will help your make-up to last all day, you never know what might happen, Especially in the area with lots of moisture/creases. So it is always a good idea to keep a small touch up kit with all the essentials. As a bare minimum, always keep a lipstick and setting powder with you.

Hope the tips would be useful in your cosplay makeup looks!🧡
